Jesse Ratliff, aka “Pappy,” is the founder and author of God Exists – My Spiritual Journey, a deeply personal spiritual journal documenting his walk back to God. Born in January 1973 and raised in a loving Baptist home, Jesse’s youth was filled with Sunday school, church choir, youth group activities, and mission trips across the country to share the gospel through music and service.

Though his faith was strong in his early years, Jesse’s late teens and the decades that followed were marked by spiritual struggle and wandering. Yet, even in his darkest moments, he never let go of the foundation his parents instilled in him—the unshakable truth of God’s existence and love. The name Jesse, meaning “God Exists,” serves as both a reminder and a mission.

Now, at 52, Jesse has rededicated his life to walking closer with the Lord. Through God Exists – My Spiritual Journey, he records his prayers, reflections, and inspirations—not only for his own spiritual growth but also in hopes that others may find encouragement through his story.
